Just wanted to let you know that I can completely relate to what you're saying- I want to believe that my parachute will open, but I can't be sure that it will, and that keeps me from being completely recovered- I am weight recovered, but I am still very anxious and guilty when I eat. Have you made lists of why you want to recover and what you have lost to your eating disorder, etc? I find that exploring the pros and cons of keeping my eating disorder around vs. recovering help me to stay focused on recovery and remind me that as scary as recovery is, it has to be better than having this eating disorder.
